Conditions of Service

Teaching Staff

Teachers are employed under the national provisions of the School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document and the Conditions of Service for School Teachers in England and Wales (The Burgundy Book). Employment is also subject to relevant regulations in force and any local agreement reached. On appointment teachers are advised of their terms and conditions of employment within a Statement of Written Particulars.

Support Staff

Support staff in schools are employed under national terms and conditions, through an agreement with the National Joint Council (The "Green Book"), relevant regulations in force and any local agreements adopted. As with teachers, on appointment support staff are advised of their terms and conditions of employment within a Statement of Written Particulars.
