Safer recruitment and safe working practice with children
Schools and early years settings must ensure children are able to develop and learn in a safe environment.
This involves ensuring that those who work with children in schools and early years settings are suitable and safe to work with children. Parts 3 & 4 of Keeping Children Safe in Education provide specific guidance on Safer Recruitment (Part 3) and Managing safeguarding concerns or allegations about staff (Part 4).
